Giant Devil’s Fig (Solanum chrysotrichum) is similar to Tropical Soda Apple (Solanum viarum), a NSW weed alert. The same vigilance should be applied to Giant Devil’s Fig to prevent it establishing in Sydney.
There are similar looking native plants so it is important to be cautious with identification of these species.
Be 100% sure of what the plant is before destroying!!
