in section 2 it states “The Biosecurity Act 2015 has repealed the Noxious Weeds Act 1993 and in doing so has streamlined and modernised the way weeds are managed.”
I don’t think the Biosecurity Act repealed the Noxious Weeds Act, it replaced it, the parliament repealed the old Act.
3.1 states that all private properties 2 hectares or larger should be inspected every 5 years. For some councils this will not be even remotely possible given the number of extreme, very high and high risk sites and pathway inspections required as well.
A general clean up of extra spaces, hyphenations and pagination is required.
